Unsolicited Compliments from the ToolBook Community
In our testing we have converted several PowerPoints for folks in the
ToolBook community. Here is what some of them had to say:
Robin,
This is a really cool tool! Can't wait to get my hands on it.
Robin and Peter,
Well, I'm impressed! Whenever you're ready, I'll take two copies!!! Very
cool for so many possible applications we have here at our company.
Please keep me on follow up -- I really don't want to miss this tool
when it's ready to go.
Peter, Well
done! First let me say - thank you for helping me out, and so quickly. I
now have some peace of mind regarding the development time now that I'm
a developer short.
Robin, As you can see
below from my bosses response [it was "yes, yes, yes" when he was asked
about purchasing the Power Book Converter], we are onboard!!!! The best
I can figure it takes approximately 20 man-hours to copy the text over
and reinsert the pics into a toolbook from PowerPoint. With the
converter doing that work in 10 minutes or less we will be able to
develop a lot more courseware for our internal customers even though we
have a small development staff.
Hi Robin & Peter,Well, I
finally got around to trying my first conversion - WOW!!! I set up
my own toolbook template, and with an existing powerpoint made just one
mapping to the title field, and off it went - everything was
converted,23 pages, 46 photos, all the text and no problems, and all in
about a minute. A very pleasant surprise indeed, thanks! Feel free
to use my endorsement - I'll probably have more to say later when we get
into it for real. As well as Toolbook, we had been considering a
Dreamweaver/Flash template for our rapid development process, but now I
reckon that's "no contest".
